All Future Professionals must adhere to the following professional dress code while in attendance:
- Future Professionals must wear solid black only. No prints, designs, or embellishments.
- Clothing should be neat and clean.
- Shoes should be close-toed, practical, professional and comfortable. These may be colorful or have print.
- Hair should be styled prior to arriving at the school.
- Any cosmetics should be applied prior to arriving at the school.
The following is a list of acceptable dress:
- Sleeveless tops - at least 3 fingers wide.
- Black blouses, solid black sweatshirts with no hoods, sweatshirts with no hoods/t-shirts/jackets with the Paul Mitchell logo or the school.
- Stylist hats, scarves, and stylish head wraps.
- Solid black dress pants.
- Solid black skirts/dresses that fall below the fingertips.
- Name tag.
The following is a list of unacceptable dress:
- Denim of any kind.
- White, Gray, or color of any kind.
- Foot thongs or beach sandals.
- Tank tops, spaghetti strap tops, crop tops.
- Sweatpants.
- Joggers.
- Sweatshirts, hooded sweatshirts, jackets and printed T-shirts other than Paul Mitchell logo.
- Shorts of any kind.
- Skirts and dresses that fall above the fingertips when standing up.
- Baseball hats, visors, bandanas, caps, or beanies.
- Spandex or biking shorts.
- Headphones, headgear, and/or earphones are not permitted.
- Sunglasses.
- Slippers.
- Open-toed shoes.
Future Professionals who fail to comply with the Future Professional dress code may be coached and may receive an advisory.
